About

Hailing from Kent, Rebecca is a multidisciplinary artist playing with clay, and pigment, and surface, in the realms of mythmaking, enchantment, and place. Since graduating from the Royal College of Art in 2016, where she was awarded the Gordon Peter Pickard Prize, she has continued to teach and exhibit in the UK and further afield, including The Studio at 4 a.m. at Hastings Contemporary (2020), Lines of Thought at the Czong Institute for Contemporary Art in South Korea (2019), What is DRAWing? at London’s Temple Church Triforium (2018), and Offprint at Tate Modern (2015). In 2019 she curated and took part in two-woman show, Plus One, with Catherine Anyango Grünewald, as part of the Arts Council England supported Margate Festival. She is currently a fully funded PhD student at Canterbury Christ Church University, UK, conducting practice-based research into trauma, repair, and the home, as well as a 2021 British Council Venice Research Fellow.
